
Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is partnering with television host and author Debbie Travis and international design expert Tommy Smythe, with the designers sailing an eight-day Gems of the Danube sailing on 09MAY, 2024 aboard Scenic Amber.
Guests booking this Gems of the Danube departure will have multiple opportunities to interact with Smythe and Travis, beginning with an evening welcome reception while docked in Budapest. Smythe and Travis will each host their own special evening presentations, as well as hold a joint conversation.
Fares start at CAD $6,595 per person, double. Guests who book by 30JUN, 2023 can save with free or reduced economy airfare and savings of up to CAD $900 per couple if paid in full within seven days of booking, depending on cabin category.
The cruise itinerary also includes several cultural, historical and culinary options. Guests can learn how to make traditional Hungarian Goulash in Budapest; take an e-bike for a guided tour to Danube Island, a recreational playground where locals come for bathing, boating, cycling and relaxing on its beaches and open spaces; meet the current owners of Artstetten Castle, outside Melk, which dates to the 13th century; and discover the 1,000-year history of Jewish heritage in Regensburg. Guests can also join Symthe and Travis on a Scenic Enrich exclusive event - a classical evening concert in Vienna’s Palais Liechtenstein.
