Crystal Cruises has announced that it has sold the yacht Crystal Esprit, which had been a part of the line's fleet since 2015.
Crystal notes that the sale of the Esprit is due to a change of course in the cruise line's future plans.
"As we have been evaluating our focus post-pandemic, the single, small yacht concept does not fit into future plans for the company as we continue to concentrate on the successful deployment of our Crystal Ocean, River and Expedition fleets, as well as exploring new builds for expansion," said Crystal in a statement.
The Esprit was Crystal's only yacht offering.
As reported by Open Jaw, Crystal resumed European river cruising late last month aboard Crystal Ravel and Crystal Debussy.
The line also recently debuted its newest expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor, in Reykjavík on 17JUN, and Endeavor is set to debut from the U.S. in Miami on 25OCT.
Crystal is notifying all affected guests and travel partners of the removal of its yacht from the Crystal fleet and itineraries. The company is offering booked guests future cruise credits equal to 115 percent of cruise fare paid on fully-paid reservations for the Crystal product of their choice on any Ocean/River/Expedition voyage or a full refund.
