This winter, Porter passengers to Florida can affordably reach Orlando through the carrier’s new seasonal partnership with the Brighline rail line.
Porter is offering 50% off Brightline’s adult SMART fares on select trains between South Florida and Orlando.
Brightline, which extended its service to Orlando in 2023, connects destinations across the state, including Orlando International Airport, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. Its downtown stations in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Aventura, and Miami make it easy to travel to and from cruise ports such as Port Miami, Port Everglades, and Port of Palm Beach.
Brightline recently doubled its Airport Connector Shuttle service. The shuttles, which connect MIA and FLL to Brightline stations, now operate every 15 minutes.
Porter offers 126 weekly flights from major Canadian airports, including Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) to the Florida.
Four Florida destinations now served by Porter include Brightline stations: Orlando (MCO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), West Palm Beach (PBI) and Miami (MIA).
Shuttle rides cost USD$10 for the first guest and USD$5 for every additional rider in the same party. They are available on a first-come, first-served walk-up basis with a same-day Brightline train fare.
