Travellers flying to Cuba with Air Canada will now need to complete their customs declarations electronically.

The airline has discontinued providing paper tourist cards on its flights.

Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism recently announced the change on Facebook, stating that Air Canada adopted the new policy starting 27DEC.

Pax are now required to fill out the DVIAJEROS form, available online, within the week before their trip to Cuba. The ministry emphasized that this form is mandatory for entry.

Sunwing implemented the change in January 2023, while Air Transat has required Cuba’s e-visa since October 2024.
