Bom Dia from Porto, one of the newest destinations added to Air Canada’s Montreal route network.
Air Canada, Porto and the North of Portugal Tourism Board have created a customized FAM aimed at promoting Air Canada’s new route from YUL to Porto. The region boasts five UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Historical Centre of Porto, the Historical Centre of Guimarães, Bom Jesus do Monte in Braga, the Foz Côa Art Valley and the Douro Valley, the first wine region in the world to be demarcated and regulated in 1756.

Open Jaw will be exploring the cities of Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Douro Valley and Pinhão. We will enjoy Portuguese wine and learn about its history through various wine tours and via WOW, the World of Wine, born from old, renovated Port wine warehouses.

Advisors and media will explore unique places to stay, including The Editory Boulevard Aliados Hotel; a five-star Preferred Hotel in Porto. We’ll also admire the work of local artisans and indulge in traditional Portuguese culinary delights.

Beginning 04JUN, 2025, until the end of September, this new route will run four-times weekly with the following flight times:
• AC928 Montreal (YUL) to Porto (OPO), departing 21:55pm and arriving 9:45am the next day
• AC929 Porto (OPO) to Montreal (YUL), departing 12:15pm and arriving 2:35pm

This new flight will be serviced by Air Canada’s 737 MAX 8 aircraft offering 16 recliner-style business class seats and 153 standard economy seats.
Stay tuned for my full article in the coming days and see why your clients should board their next flight to Porto.
