Porter Airlines' new Embraer E195-E2.

Porter is celebrating 18 years of service.

According to the airline, in the past 12 months, Porter has:

  • Grown to 3,900+ team members (up from 1,500 in 2022)
  • Taken delivery of 20 new E195-E2 aircraft (operating 42 in total of an order up to 100)
  • Total fleet size of 71 aircraft, including 29 De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft
  • Added 20 new routes (current total 65) and 11 new destinations (current total 38)

"Porter now serves every province in Canada. It is also expanding further across the U.S., with six destinations in Florida, as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. San Diego and Palm Springs also start this winter. A base for regional flights at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport connects markets throughout Eastern Canada and the U.S," the airline said in a statement.

“Porter has redefined air travel for 18 years. We continue to expand our network across the continent and are giving travellers highly competitive fares for an elevated level of service that previously didn’t exist in the marketplace,” said Michael Deluce, CEO, Porter Airlines.
