Sunwing is raising the cost of seat selection.
In an email to Open Jaw, the airline confirmed standard and preferred seat selections are increasing by CAD$5 each.
Elite Plus is increasing by $10 for pre-purchase (with a higher cost if purchased at airport check-in).
Carry-on baggage remains unchanged at $25 if pre-purchased, with an increase to $30 for purchase at check-in
"These price changes take effect for new Sunwing bookings made from September 9, 2024 onward," Sunwing said.
The price increase follows Sunwing's winter 2024/2025 program announcement.
The schedule includes flights from 24 Canadian airports to 27 sunny destinations, with new additions like Tulum, Camaguey-Santa Lucia, and San Andrés off the coast of Nicaragua.
