Arajet announced that it has secured two additional international awards for the modernity of its aircraft fleet.
CH-aviation recognized Arajet as the airline with the second youngest aircraft fleet in the Americas and as the third worldwide.
According to CH Aviation, only Lynx Air has a younger aircraft fleet in North America (averaging 2.81 years old).
Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, affirmed that this new recognition supports Arajet's commitment to having a modern and efficient aircraft fleet: "Our fleet, besides being among the most modern in the world, is also the most efficient and environmentally friendly fleet, thanks to the technology used by the Boeing 737 Max 8, that consumes less fuel and produces less sonic pollution than other aircrafts of its style", Pacheco said in a statement.
Arajet was assessed with the fleet it closed the year 2023 with, consisting of eight Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes. As the company has reported, in 2024, it will continue adding new aircraft to its fleet to further expand its network, currently connecting 23 destinations in 16 countries throughout the Americas.
