Globus has unveiled its 2020 line-up of South Pacific vacations, including five new escorted group itineraries.
“We’re seeing a significant increase in interest in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji as travellers put them high on their wish-lists,” says Stéphanie Bishop of the Globus family of brands’ Canadian office. “As a result, we’ve increased our vacations by 50% with new, immersive journeys to Australia – including Tasmania – and to New Zealand.”
Transportation is by air-conditioned motorcoach with free Wi-Fi so passengers can share their memories as they happen.
Globus' five new South Pacific tours, ranging from nine to 25 days, include:
Wild Tasmania (9 days)
Travellers will explore the wilds of Tasmania, kicking things off in the capital Hobart before continuing on to Mount Field National Park, cruising along the Gordon River to find Cradle Mountain National Park, and visiting a sanctuary famous for the notorious Tasmanian Devil and a Penguin Tour.
Great Sights of Australia (12-days)
Travellers will discover the sights of Australia, from Brisbane to Sydney, with adventures that include visiting the Australia Zoo, gliding over rainforests by way of the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef.
Best Kept Secret: Western Australia (19 days)
From Margaret River to the Ningaloo Reef, travellers on this guided vacation will explore the beauty and history of Australia’s hidden gems. Local Favorites
Every Globus itinerary invites travellers to take in "Local Favorites", which are behind-the-scene activities such as the new Australian Safari experience, a cruise on the Tasman Peninsula with a chance to view whales, seals and dolphins, or a visit to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, founded by Steve and Terri Irwin, on the Great Sights of Australia itinerary, also new.
