One of the first hires for AMResorts, Canadian-born Jan LaPointe has departed her position as Vice President of Strategic Retail Sales North America, AMRewards and Sales & Marketing Canada.
“As an early member of our marketing team, Jan helped pave the way for AMResorts’ success,” wrote AMResorts President Gonzalo del Peonin a note to staff and partners.
“As the first Director of Marketing for the company, her belief and trust in the project supported the company’s vision of growth and expansion. Jan led the creation of new brands and the execution of opening hotels in new destinations. She then moved to Sales, creating and implementing strategies to support growth in the Canadian market. She also led the expansion of the North American Sales Team.”
Del Peon added: “We would like to thank Jan for her 17 years of friendship, service and commitment and wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours.”
