That was the message delivered 05OCT at the Dubai Trade Roadshow at the Arcadian Loft in downtown Toronto. Hosted by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the event also offered agents the opportunity to meet and mingle with Canadian tour operators who feature the destination. As night fell on the #Indigenouscommunity of #Wendake near Québec City, I strolled along a forest pathway celebrating the stories, culture and living heritage of the Huron-Wendat Nation in a thoroughly modern way.

For 1.2 km, I lost myself in light, sound and video projections, so oblivious to a sprinkling of rain that I thought it was a clever part of the experience.

The Grenada Tourism Authority laid out a fine spread in downtown Toronto on 29SEP, including a “boil down” dish cooked up by a Grenadian native who runs a restaurant outside the city. They also touched on new flights, the safety of visitors to the island and fun festivals.
