Last week at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, Transcend Cruises, the charter-only river cruise company, unveiled the names of its first purpose-built river vessels, designed exclusively for the B2B group market and launching in 2026: Transcend Connect, entering service in April, and Transcend Evolve, following later in Q2.
These names are far more than symbolic—they represent the foundational principles behind Transcend’s approach to group river cruising.
“Every aspect of our product is intentionally crafted to serve the unique needs of B2B group travel,” said Matthew Shollar, Chief Visionary Officer, Transcend Cruises. “Transcend connect speaks to our mission of fostering meaningful connections—among guests, teams, and ideas—in immersive river settings. Transcend evolve reflects the transformative journey we aim to deliver for every guest onboard, as well as the evolution of group cruising itself. These names embody the outcomes our clients can expect—and they mark the beginning of a naming strategy rooted in purpose as we expand our fleet.”
Transcend isn’t just naming ships—we’re naming the experiences and results we deliver. And we’re just getting started.
