Cruise-Week has published this statement:
"The United States Court of Appeals For The Eleventh District has voted to stay Florida District Court Judge Merryday's decision limiting the CDC's ability to enforce its rules regarding cruise ship regulations.
The court has not issued its opinions yet. However, the ramifications are huge. At this point, the CDC continues to have powers to require, not merely make suggestions, regarding what cruise companies need to do from a public health perspective to operate out of Florida.
Now that the stay has been issued, the CDC rules will stay in place and the industry can resume operations only if certain thresholds are met."
