Disney Cruise Line Will Require All Passengers Ages 5 and Older to be Fully Vaccinated

Disney Cruise Line has updated its immunization policy on 17NOV, and now will require all passengers over the age of 5 to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The new policy will take effect on 13JAN 2022, and will apply to sailings both in the U.S. and internationally. Until that date, unvaccinated guests between the ages of 5 to 11 must take a pre-departure COVID-19 test. The update comes as U.S. federal regulators recently approved of Pfizer’s vaccine for children ages 5 to 11, and Canada appears to be about to follow suit. Currently, guests age 12 and up and all crew members on Disney ships must be fully vaccinated.
