MSC Seashore, MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, has officially begun guest sailings as of 09AUG with a voyage in the Mediterranean.
Guests were welcomed on the brand's first Seaside EVO ship in Naples, Italy before embarking on its seven-night western Mediterranean itinerary, which will call Messina in Sicily, for Taormina and Mount Etna, then on to Valetta in Malta followed by Barcelona, Marseille and back to Genoa.
Following its summer season in the Mediterranean, MSC Seashore will embark on an 18-night transatlantic voyage to Miami in NOV 2021, where it will become the brand's newest ship to sail from the U.S.
The new MSC Seashore includes:
- Six swimming pools including an infinity pool and infinity hot tubs with ocean views
- 2,270 staterooms with 12 different types of cabins and suites with balconies including coveted aft suits
- 11 dining venues and 19 bars and lounges, including the new conveyor belt at Kaito Sushi, and al fresco dining at Butcher’s Cut steakhouse
- The largest MSC Yacht Club in the fleet, with almost 32,291 sq. ft. of space and ocean views from the foredecks of the ship
- An expansive 1,772 ft. waterfront promenade close to the water
- A glass-floored Bridge of Sighs at deck 16 with a unique vantage point of the ocean
- A New York-themed piazza with 10,452 sq. ft. of space across three decks right in the heart of the ship’s Times Square
- Danza del Mare: a work of art realized by VENINI, a world renowned glass maker
- Danza del Mare has been created for the MSC Foundation – a symbol of the MSC Foundation’s efforts to protect the Sea
- A shopping space that is more than 72 percent larger than that of her sister ships, including two extra shops
- Safe Air, an air sanitation technology developed by Fincantieri featuring UV-C lamps to eliminate viruses and bacteria
- Environmental technology to minimize the ship’s environmental footprint and ensuring even cleaner air emissions

Upon arrival to its new homeport, the ship will offer seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Caribbean with two different itineraries. The first, in the West Caribbean, calls Ocho Rios in Jamaica, George Town in the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel in Mexico. The second, in the East Caribbean, calls San Juan in Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie on the island of St Thomas, and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.
MSC also highlights that every Caribbean cruise will feature a call to its private island in the Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. The island is surrounded by a 64 square mile marine reserve, and provides guests with the opportunity to explore the scenery, wildlife, and two miles of beaches. With MSC Seashore docking at the island from early morning into the evening, and sometimes overnight, guests can spend a full day enjoying the island with a variety of activities including stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, wave runner rides and more.
