Costa Deliziosa Opens 2026 World Cruise

Costa Deliziosa

After more than four months of sailing to five continents, 52 destinations and 21 countries, Costa Deliziosa today ended the 2025 edition of Costa Cruises’ World Cruise in Trieste, Italy. A well-established tradition in Costa's offerings, the 2025 edition thrilled more than 2,000 guests from all over the world and concluded at the same port it departed from Dec. 7, 2024.

Costa Deliziosa offered guests a unique experience, visiting some of the world's most iconic destinations in Europe, Africa, South America and Oceania: from the vibrant cities of Brazil and Argentina to the remote islands of Polynesia, from the unspoiled wilderness of New Zealand and Australia to the wonders of South Africa and Namibia, all before returning to the Mediterranean.

The most popular cruise for fans of epic travel took guests to discover the beauty of the world, including natural landscapes, vibrant cultures, futuristic cities and moments of pure wonder, such as the New Year's Eve celebration in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the breathtaking fireworks show on Copacabana beach, or sailing through the glaciers of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

As this adventure comes to an end, the gaze is already turned to the future: bookings are open for the 2026 World Cruise, departing in November 2025, with a renewed itinerary that promises thrills, new routes and destinations to be discovered. Costa Deliziosa will depart Nov. 21, 2025, from Trieste, and will circumnavigate the globe, sailing west to live an experience worthy of the best adventure novels: 142 days, exploring five continents, to discover the boundless landscapes of South America, the primordial nature of the Pacific islands — from French Polynesia to New Caledonia — going as far as Japan and India.

For those who dream even bigger, Costa Cruises recently announced the 2027 edition of the World Cruise, which will sail roundtrip from Savona, Italy, departing Nov. 26, 2026, and returning April 12, 2027, offering an unforgettable journey through some of the most fascinating destinations on the planet. At 139 days, the 2027 edition will circumnavigate the globe, starting with a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean, and touching for the first time the private island Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, as well as visiting the most iconic cities along the East and West Coast of the United States. In addition to the complete 139-day itinerary from Savona, in the 2027 edition it is possible to embark in San Francisco, California, for a 100-Day segment.

Costa Deliziosa is one of the most beloved ships in the Costa fleet. Completely renovated in 2024, it is back in the spotlight with a style that enhances Italian elegance and comfort on board: refined interiors embellished with Murano glass decorations, open-air decks with floral names, bright and welcoming cabins and suites with a modern design.

The days on board are a journey within a journey thanks to a wide gastronomic offering of the highest level, with themed restaurants, buffets with international specialties, gourmet cuisine for special moments and themed bars, where guests can enjoy relaxation with signature cocktails or glasses of fine wines. The ship boasts 12 bars and lounges, seven swimming pools and whirlpools, a spa area with sea views to regenerate while sailing, a free kids' club for the little ones and a large theater with live shows every evening. The rich program of events on board – including musical evenings, thematic shows and entertainment for all ages – accompanies guests every day, immersing them in the essence of the destinations visited.

Costa Deliziosa Begins 2025 Mediterranean Season

Following the World Cruise, Costa Deliziosa is sailing a selection of two distinct weeklong itineraries in the eastern Mediterranean this season, with roundtrip departures from Marghera (Venice) and Trieste, Italy. The first itinerary explores Greece, Italy and Croatia, with calls at Corfu, Katakolon (Olympia), Greece; as well as Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia. The spectacular island of Zakynthos, Greece, is included on select departures, while others feature Kotor, Montenegro, in its place. Costa Deliziosa’s second itinerary will explore the Greek Islands of Santorini and Mykonos, and also Katakolon, the gateway to Olympia.
