Arajet, the flagship airline of the Dominican Republic expands its U.S. presence, announcing ticket sales for flights from New York Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Las Américas Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) with fares starting as low as 262 USD round trip.

The new route will start operations on June 16th and will serve as a vital connection between the Dominican Republic and the New York metropolitan area, which is home to the largest community of the Dominican diaspora.

We look forward to welcoming travelers with the convenience, affordability, and exceptional service Arajet is known for.”

Arajet made the announcement at the Gregorio Luperón school in Washington Heights, a community with a large Dominican population; along with the New York congressman of Dominican origin, Adriano Espaillat, as well as the Dominican consuls, Jesús Vázquez and José Santana, from New York and New Jersey respectively.

Once in Santo Domingo, travelers can stay to explore what the country has to offer or easily fly to 24 destinations. EWR will be the perfect gateway into the New York region for its central location, excellent connections to public transportation, and proximity to Manhattan. Flights are set to begin on June 16.
