The official announcement is expected at 11 a.m. (EST) today, as part of the airport’s multi-million-dollar expansion.

A source with direct knowledge of the deal, who is not authorized to speak publicly, revealed that Porter’s investment is "far different and larger than past airline launches in the city," CHCH News reports.

Porter’s introduction to the airport is expected to significantly enhance travel options for travellers in the region.
