ACTA Calls for Applications on Two Committees

ACTA seeks to fill two committees with members who want to help shape the future of the travel industry: the Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) Committee and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee.

Independent Travel Advisor Committee

This committee addresses the challenges and opportunities independent travel advisors face, focusing on advocacy, professional development, and shaping industry policies to reflect their needs.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

The DEI Committee aims to foster a more inclusive travel industry by attracting diverse talent, enhancing cultural competency in services, and ensuring the industry effectively serves all Canadians.

Why Join?

Committee membership offers opportunities to influence the industry's future, network with professionals nationwide, mentor peers, and contribute to creating a more inclusive and equitable travel landscape.

ACTA encourages diverse representation from all provinces and business models and welcomes applications from members with varied perspectives and experiences.

Meetings will be held quarterly via MS Teams.

Application Details

Interested ACTA members can apply by 31JAN 2025 through the ACTA 2025 Committee Application form.

Applicants may express interest in one or both committees, with selections announced in February.
