Arajet, the low-price Dominican airline, reported that in November 2024, it transported 96,586 passengers.

This is an asset for the airline, mobilizing 7% of travelers who enter or depart the country. In addition, last month, Arajet managed to exceed one million passengers in 2024, becoming the first Dominican airline to carry more than a million passengers in a year.

These figures are part of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) report, which provides information projecting Arajet as the most active Dominican airline. Since the beginning of its operations at Punta Cana Airport, Arajet has grown remarkably, and they expect this growth to continue in December.

They explained that Arajet currently represents 85% of the passengers transported among the local airlines, adding more than 25,000 passengers from connections exceeding 120,000 users. Positioning itself as the Dominican airline with the main movement of flights from the different airports of the country.

Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, expressed his gratitude to the passengers who have preferred the airline as their best option for their trips for both tourism and business, and that have made it the fourth largest airline movement in the Dominican Republic.

"Arajet will continue to offer the lowest rates on the market and the highest standards of quality service, to position the country as a regional air hub and strengthen the local tourism industry," Pacheco said.

In addition, they highlighted that the most traveled routes in Punta Cana were Buenos Aires and São Paulo, while in Las Americas airport were Bogotá and Medellín. The airline indicated that expects to transport approximately 1.2 million passengers by the end of 2024, to consolidate its exponential growth from Canada to the southern cone with its new routes operating from Punta Cana Airport.
