The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has announced the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos, located on Grace Bay in Providenciales. It marks the entry of the ultra-luxury brand on the island.
The new resort features 147 ocean view guest rooms, including 23 beachfront suites, in addition to five, three-story penthouse suites with private rooftop pools and horizon views.
A wide range of amenities designed for either a private getaway or family vacation are available, including both a recreational pool, and an adults-only pool with private cabanas.
The Lady Grace, the private catamaran of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos, offers guests an opportunity to get out on the water.
Guests who prefer to stay on land can enjoy the beach and experience complimentary service provided by the concierge, or take part in beach activities such as organized yoga classes. Guests can enjoy personalized treatments that embrace holistic wellness through the use of indigenous plants at the resort spa.
Kids ages 4 to 12 can explore the island through the resort’s signature Ritz Kids program. Educational activities teach kids about local marine life, and other activities develop their inner artist with beach-inspired arts and crafts.
The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos has various dining options including Coralli which features cuisine prepared with a local flair. BLT Steak’s Blackboard Menu offers dishes that highlight the seasonal flavors of Turks and Caicos.
In a distinctly local touch on an island famous for its conch, the resort marks the end of every day with the sound of this notable shell, and offers guests the chance to sample conch ceviche and other island delicacies.
For on-site entertainment, the resort also features a casino which offers traditional table games.
