Explora Journeys has revealed details about its latest luxury cruise ship, EXPLORA III, anticipated to embark on its maiden voyage in the summer of 2026.

With 463 suites, including expanded options in higher-tier categories such as Ocean Penthouses and Residences, Explora Journeys says its newest ship offers one of the industry’s highest ratios of public space per guest.

In its inaugural season, EXPLORA III will sail through the coastlines of Northern Europe, Iceland, and Greenland before exploring North America's East Coast. The ship will then transition to the Caribbean for the winter of 2026/2027.

Highlights onboard include Ocean Wellness – The Spa and Fitness Centre, alongside new open-air fitness spaces. Dining will remain a key feature, with a mix of returning and new culinary concepts.

EXPLORA III is the first LNG-powered ship in Explora Journeys’ fleet.

Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys, said, “With EXPLORA III, we are thrilled to reach the halfway point in the launch of our fleet of six luxury ships, each designed to redefine the standards of ocean travel. This milestone represents more than just growth; it underscores our dedication to offering guests unparalleled access to some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations. By expanding our fleet, we are able to offer a greater variety of itineraries, immersing travellers in diverse cultures, landscapes, and unique moments across the globe.”
