According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), 2.1m air passengers were screened on 20JUN 2021, the highest number since MAR 2020. TSA data shows 20JUN was the fifth day that month where 2m people were screened at U.S. checkpoints. In 2020, the daily number of travellers screened ranged from 100k at the beginning of the pandemic to below 1m through the end of the year.
