Star Clippers Early Access for 2026 Bookings

Star Clippers is taking bookings on sailings through November 2026, including the full summer season in the Mediterranean.

Star Clippers’ fleet of three tall ships sail year-round, with itineraries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Central America, as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings.

Guests booking select 2026 sailings by December 31, 2024, will receive $200 onboard credit for three to six night sailings, $300 onboard credit for seven to nine night sailings, and $400 onboard credit for 10+ night sailings. Offer is valid for residents of North, Central and South America only.

Star Clippers’ 2026 Mediterranean summer season includes three exciting new ports of call: Šibenik, Croatia, a hidden gem on the Adriatic Coast that offers all the charm of Split and Dubrovnik with fewer tourists and a culinary heritage tied to its fertile soil; Otranto, Italy, the country’s easternmost town located in Puglia, known for its stunning white sand beaches and 15th century Aragonese Castle; and Gytheo, Greece, a beautiful seaside town on the southern side of Peloponnese best known for its important role as seaport for ancient Sparta.

Guests looking to experience the magic of Venice aboard a tall ship will be delighted to learn that Star Clippers is one of few cruise lines that will still be docking in the Grand Canal just steps from St. Mark's Square. In summer 2026, Star Clipper will offer two 11-day sailings between Venice and Rome, and two between Venice and Athens. Royal Clipper will also offer an 11-day Venice to Rome itinerary as well as a seven-day Venice round trip with ports in Croatia and Montenegro, and a three-day sailing round trip from Venice calling on Slovenia and Croatia.

Those looking to experience the magic of a Star Clippers sailing but who aren’t ready to commit to seven nights will want to check out the variety of three-to-five-day itineraries available in the summer of 2026. Star Clipper will offer a five-night Rome to Rome in July and a five-night Athens to Malta in October, while Royal Clipper is offering a five-night Lisbon to Malaga in April, a three-night Venice round trip in June and a three-night round trip Rome in September.

Racing fans take note: Royal Clipper will return to hosting Grand Prix sailings in 2026, with two round-trip Nice itineraries—the May 16 departure puts guests in Monaco for the Grand Prix trials on May 22, and the May 23 departure puts guests in Monaco for the Grand Prix finals on May 24. Regatta fans are also in luck, as Royal Clipper will offer a special sailing coordinated with the Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta as it marks its 25th anniversary. This round-trip Nice sailing departs September 26, spending October 2 in St. Tropez for the race.

Star Clippers’ special Grand Voyage itineraries are created to allow guests to experience an extended journey through the Eastern and Western Mediterranean and are available on all three of the clipper ships. These nine- to 20-night sailings have no more than three days at sea during any trip, allowing more time for exploring the small towns and UNESCO heritage sites, sampling the local cuisine, and getting a glimpse of life as a local. An array of 14-night sailings island hopping in Greece on Star Flyer take guests to lesser-known islands like Skiathos and Skopelos in addition to favorites like Santorini and Mykonos.

For more than 25 years, Star Clippers has been introducing travelers to the thrill of modern tall-ship sailing to remote ports in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Central America. The company operates three of the world’s largest and tallest sailing vessels: Star Clipper and Star Flyer are traditional clipper ships with modern amenities carrying 166 guests each, while the 227-guest Royal Clipper holds the Guinness World Record as the largest and only five-masted, fully-rigged sailing ship in service today. All three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools informal dining, convivial tropical bars on deck, and piano lounges.
