Annette Mark has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA).
Mark, who took up duties on 12AUG 2024, will lead the SVGTA Authority team in fulfilling its primary mandate of destination marketing.
Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, Honorable Carlos James, said he is “delighted to welcome Ms. Mark on board at this critical juncture in St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ intensified tourism development thrust.”
According to Minister James, “the new CEO’s appointment is part of a restructuring exercise which ultimately seeks to ensure that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is an even more competitive and sought after tourism destination.”

Mark said her immediate priorities include addressing the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl to parts of the Grenadines.
She will focus on restoring affected accommodations, attracting more yacht enthusiasts and improving the overall experience of visitors to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
An Attorney at Law, Mark is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in project management planning, and investment promotion.
She previously served as a Consultant at Sandals St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as the executive director of Invest SVG, which is the agency charged with attracting foreign direct investment to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Authority’s headquarters in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is supported by offices in London, New York and Toronto, with an interline desk in Barbados.
