Inspiring Journeys Unveils New 2025-2026 Itineraries

Inspiring Journeys, the sister brand of AAT Kings Group, renowned for offering immersive, small-group premium travel experiences, has unveiled its new 2025/2026 season itineraries, featuring three brand-new tours that promise to uncover the best-kept secrets of Australia.

To celebrate this launch, Inspiring Journeys is offering clients the opportunity to save up to 10% on selected itineraries for bookings made between July 29th, 2024, and December 6th, 2024, on select travel departures from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.*

The highlights of the 2025/2026 season tours span both Australia and New Zealand, featuring new tours in Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania. The brand is also welcoming a multitude of new elements to its New Zealand itineraries, including accommodations at Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds, Trinity Wharf Tauranga, and Lake Ōhau Lodge, in addition to experiences like visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set and Overland Gannett Safaris.

Here are the new tours that explore the hidden treasures of Australia and New Zealand.

South Australia Murray River Cruise & Wine Journey
Clients will experience a true exploration of South Australia's most scenic and serene landscapes, combined with an indulgent culinary journey on this 7-day South Australia Murray River Cruise and Wine. The experience begins with the vibrant flavours of Adelaide's renowned Central Market and then continues to the historic Hahndorf, the oldest German settlement dating back to the 1800s. Next, they will journey to McLaren Vale, home of the quirky d’Arenburg Cube, a 5-level architectural marvel inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking and enjoy a wine-tasting tour offering panoramic 360-degree views of the surrounding vineyards. Guests will unwind on a tranquil two-night Murray River cruise aboard the Proud Mary riverboat. Along the way, the tour highlights the rich wildlife, charming river communities and unique blend of history and modernity in destinations like Mannum and Berri through guided tours and experience dining riverside under the stars with local entertainment and campfire gatherings.

Clients then explore the Loxton Historical Village and visit the 23rd Street Distillery for a gin-blending masterclass. They have the opportunity to participate in a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience with Banrock Station to contribute to the restoration of local wetlands by planting native trees and shrubs. Guests will enjoy canapés and sparkling wine while visiting the award-winning Monarto Wildlife Park, where they can revel in the sights and sounds of the park, including the roaring lions.

Kimberley Gorges & Gibb River Road Journey
For those seeking adventure in one of Australia’s most rugged and remote regions, the 11-day Kimberley Gorges and Gibb River Road tour offers guests the best of the outback, including waterfalls, wildlife, white sandy beaches, dramatic gorges and dips in the freshwater swimming holes. They will begin their journey in Broome with a 22km-long Cable Beach ride and a tasting tour of native-infused craft beers at the Spinifex Brewery. The itinerary includes guided tours to Wunaamin Conservation Park, Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park, Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek) which is Western Australia's oldest cave system, the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, and the 700,000-acre El Questro Wilderness Park to explore Emma Gorge with its dramatic cliffs and droplet waterfalls and savour dining under the stars at Emma Gorge Resort. This journey includes tranquil cruises through the Ord River and Chamberlain Gorge where clients are surrounded by diverse flora and fauna. They will also have the opportunity to swim in hidden gems such as the picturesque Barker Pool, the refreshing Galvans Gorge, and the naturally warm thermal waters of Zebedee Springs. The tour includes relaxing stays at secluded lodges such as Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge with unique tented accommodations along the Gibb River Road and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge, where guests embark on a morning walk to witness the 360-million-year-old iconic orange and black striped Bungle Bungle domes.

Tasting Tasmania & Flinders Island Journey
Tasmania’s north, coupled with the remote beauty of Flinders Island, ensures guests a blend of nature, history, and gastronomy on this new 7-day Tasting Tasmania and Flinders Island tour. Clients will experience culinary highlights through Launceston, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, with the itinerary featuring everything from paddock-to-plate dining to seafood feasts with local specialties. On Flinders Island, guests will tour the Settlement Point and Wybalenna historic site with a knowledgeable local guide, visit the Furneaux Museum, and enjoy a wine tasting at Unavale Vineyard. The journey also includes scenic flights over the stunning Bay of Fires and Wineglass Bay, as well as exploration of Freycinet National Park. They will cruise to Wineglass Bay, considered as one of the world's top ten beaches, and then journey to the Bay of Fires. Clients will stay at the iconic Barnbougle Lost Farm Links Golf Course and enjoy golfing at their 20-hole golf course. Later, they will visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Brickendon Estate for a guided tour by a member of the Archer family. In the city of Devonport, guests will learn about berry farming and Tasmanian Pickled Onions and enjoy drinks from the tap at Devonport’s Island State Brewery. With accommodations in serene locations including the secluded Freycinet Lodge and Barnbougle, this tour is designed for those who want to relax and unwind while exploring Tasmania’s hidden treasures.
