Contiki, the leading social travel brand for travellers aged 18-35, launches nine brand new trips across the world, including some to new destinations offered for the first time. A selection of departures from these new trips will be on sale for up to 25% off starting July 9, 2024 during the “July Anytime” sale along with other Contiki favourites.

The “North American Glaciers and National Parks” trip shows travellers the incredible Banff & Jasper National Parks in Canada and Glacier National Park in the USA in just 12 days. The trip is packed with unique experiences including a Red Jammer bus ride, playing ice hockey with professionals, and even learning from Indigenous peoples about their culture and traditions. This type of trip has been growing in popularity among young travellers in Canada and the USA who want to see the natural beauty in their backyard.

“The North American Glaciers & National Parks trip is nothing short of a jaw-dropping exploration of the USA and Canada’s Rockies,” says Carlen Oliveira, North America Trip Manager for Contiki. “It’s packed with incredible views and experiences that are truly authentic and unique. We know that our travellers will love this one.”

Vietnam’s ever-growing appeal has made it a popular destination for Contiki travellers. After the 10-day “Vietnam Highlights” trip and the 27-day “Ultimate South East Asia” trip, the brand has introduced a great-value 5-day trip that visits the world-famous Ha Giang Loop in Northern Vietnam. Travellers will have the chance to learn about traditional H’mong art & crafts and trail along the Nho Que river on a boat with local guides - all while witnessing magnificent views of terrace fields.

“Travelling along the Ha Giang Loop and seeing the lush landscapes of Northern Vietnam is on the bucket list for a lot of travellers who visit Southeast Asia. And now they have the chance to do it with us,” says Megan Baiada, Project Manager for Contiki Asia.

After the massive success of the first few departures of the recently launched “South Korean Soul” trip, Contiki has launched an extended version which now includes 4 days in Jeju Island – popular for its Haenyeo (fisherwomen) culture and is a hotspot for K-drama lovers. Contiki is one of the very first youth travel brands to offer a product that visits this incredible island.

“Asia is the new young-traveller hotspot, and the success of our South Korean Soul trip proves it. That’s why we’ve decided to expand our offering in South Korea, and there’s no better choice than Jeju Island,” says Taryn Welsh, Asia Operations Director at Contiki.

Contiki has also dropped two new trips that now give travellers the chance to go from Delhi to Kathmandu by coach and internal flights, followed by a trek with varying difficulty levels to choose from.

Select new trips, such as the Ha Giang Loop in Northern Vietnam and the North American Glaciers & National Parks, are eligible for Contiki’s July Anytime Sale. Between July 9 – 31, 2024, travellers can save up to 25% on select Contiki itineraries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, New Zealand, and North America.
