Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) announced the theme of its next annual conference, to be held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport and Conference Center on 21SEP and 22SEP, right after the event at the St-Hyacinthe Convention Centre on 14SEP and 15SEP.

"The values of surpassing oneself, inclusion, and collective effort embodied by the Olympic Games are at the heart of the message we want to convey during this at the 13th edition of our not-to-be-missed annual conference," says Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC. "Our members, whether from our franchised, affiliated agencies, corporate agencies, or from our agent@home program, will be invited to TDC 2024: Ignite your inner athlete. The words TDC 2024 are intended to bring people together since they are used in the same way as the host cities of the Olympic Games. And with this theme, we want to embody all the remarkable qualities needed to evolve as a travel professional, as is the case for Olympic athletes. And these athlete-advisors will have an exceptional opportunity to get active, to nurture the athlete in them through enriching encounters, various inspiring conferences, and information sessions that we'll be preparing for them, in collaboration with our many preferred partners," continues Gagnon.

An internationally renowned speaker

The keynote speaker who will be kicking off the conference is none other than Jean-François Ménard. "Jean François Ménard is an expert in the field of mental preparation, who practices his profession on the world's most prestigious stages, working with Olympic champions, professional athletes, leading companies, and internationally renowned artists. It's a real honor for us to welcome this author of the bestseller Train (Your Brain) like an Olympian, and we're especially delighted that he's coming to share with the members of the TDC network mental training techniques that have proved their worth both for employees of various companies and for top-level sports champions," explains Karine Gagnon.

Transat, our leading partner

The traditional Transat evening on Saturday will also focus on the Olympic theme. “Glitter and Gold is our proposal for creating a unique atmosphere for our festive Saturday evening," continues Karine Gagnon. "Associating gold with the Olympic Games is a no-brainer, and it adds the perfect touch of chic and sumptuousness for this evening, during which our travel professionals love to indulge in all their creative outfits. This celebration is also our way to thank our travel professionals for their extraordinary commitment," concludes Karine Gagnon.
