Mar del Cabo’s warm welcome for furry friends begins upon arrival with pet-friendly transportation from the airport to the hotel where pets are then greeted with a special welcome amenity and a cozy bed, bowl, and toys. Guests are treated to three nights in Mar del Cabo’s Penthouse Suite spanning 1,485 sq. ft. with plenty of room for humans and pets alike. The suite features an equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a step-in rain shower, and spacious living and dining areas. The large private terrace is the perfect spot to soak up the warm Cabo sun and breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez.
The pampering continues with a pet-friendly menu specially crafted to ensure healthy and delicious options for four-legged guests, free from salt, onion, garlic, leek, and any other additives considered toxic for pets. The special menu includes a salmon “poke” bowl for dogs, made with seared salmon, poached spinach, and a boiled egg; a beef-mince burger served with farm-fresh lettuce and carrots; roasted chicken breast served with peas, roasted potatoes and carrots, and white rice; and a dessert option, a banana split made with whipped cream, vanilla, and coconut peanut butter. As with all culinary offerings from Mar del Cabo’s Encanto restaurant, over 90% of the ingredients come from nearby fruit and vegetable orchards, ranches, and producers. A sunset picnic on the Sol Terrace includes a beautiful setup from the hotel, including premium wine and cold cuts for the owners while pets can enjoy one of their special menu items. Mar del Cabo offers dog-sitting services up to three times throughout the stay, each session lasting one hour. As an additional service, the hotel also offers a professional photoshoot on the stunning property, priced at $445 USD.
