Canada Jetlines Expands Fleet to 6 with Lease of New A320-214 Aircraft

Canada Jetlines has expanded its fleet by adding another A320-214 aircraft, bringing the total to six, in addition to the two previously announced on 04JAN.

Jetlines said, "This marks a strategic move to enhance the airline's operational capabilities and meet the growing demand for affordable air travel."

The A320-214 aircraft is expected to be in service by the end of Q1 of 2024. 

Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines, stated, "We are pleased with our strong start to the year as we execute our growth strategy. Canada Jetlines is pleased to announce the addition of a new A320-214 aircraft. By doubling our fleet, we are offer more travelers reliable and cost-effective options while adding value for our shareholders. We look forward to deploying this aircraft to serve multiple routes, expanding our reach, and serving the growing leisure travel market."   

The newly leased aircraft will be deployed to serve Mexico, Jamaica, Florida and Las Vegas routes, as well as for charter services.
