Exodus Adventure Travels Announces '50 Years of Adventure' Promotion

Exodus Travels

Exodus Adventure Travels announced a "50 Years of Adventure" promotion valid on new bookings made between 20OCT and 31OCT for travel between 01DEC 2023 and 31DEC 2024, which applies to Exodus' guided group departures, using the booking code EXODUSDOES20%.

50 Years of Adventure

Exodus Adventure Travels was started in 1974 by two friends, John Gillies and David Burlinson, who took an overland truck to the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan. Soon after, they expanded their efforts to other trips to Kathmandu in Nepal.

By the 1990s, Exodus expanded its product offering, adding cycling adventures to its portfolio. In 2021, Exodus became part of Travelopia.

Exodus Adventure Travels says it gives back to communities by staying in locally owned accommodations, employing local guides, avoiding waste generation, and having an animal welfare policy. The tourism group measures the carbon footprint of all its trips and contributes towards nature regeneration through a commitment to rewild 100 square metres per passenger.

The Exodus Travels Foundation focuses on three main themes: grassroots community building, uplifting women and wildlife, biodiversity & regeneration.
