Arizona Office of Tourism and their Canadian representative Radonic Rodgers V.P., Fred Azouz, recently hosted some of their key Canadian travel partners at the elegant Chez Victor restaurant in the St. Germain Hotel on Toronto's tiny Mercer Street. The informal evening and pleasant atmosphere provided a great opportunity for conversation and relaxed exchange of information topped off with an astounding visual presentation produced by Arizona Highways magazine (www.arizonahighways.com).

This high quality magazine dedicated to all things  Arizona was first published in 1925, when photos were made on film and its stories written on typewriters. In its 80+ years of existence, the magazine has accumulated the best collection of Arizona related photographs. The Toronto gathering was treated to a breath taking selection of images, all accompanied by the meditational music of Karlos Nakai, a native Arizona flautist of Navajo / Ute heritage. The presentation showcased the beautiful Arizona landscapes through all 4 seasons. No doubt, this state is not only a snowbird destination - active and curious travellers can engage in a multitude of activities in many diverse and breath-taking settings.

After Toronto, Team Arizona is meeting with partners in Vancouver and Edmonton. Catch them if you can - it's worth it.
