TTC Tour Brands Hires New Groups BDM for Canada

Lora Hamre: TTC Groups Business Development Manager, Canada

TTC Tour Brands North America has announced Lora Hamre's appointment as the new Groups Business Development Manager, Canada, effective immediately.

According to TTC, Hamres brings over 20 years of sales experience – including an earlier position as BDM with Trafalgar, Costsaver and Brendan Vacations – to this newly created role with TTC Tour Brands, where she will service and support Canadian advisors in the group travel market.

"With strong demand and steady interest in group travel, there is tremendous potential for Canadian travel advisors in working with TTC Tour Brands to curate groups for their clients – especially since we offer tours for any and everyone across our brands," says Guy Young, Chief Trade Engagement Officer, TTC Tour Brands North America. "Lora's passion for groups paired with her vast industry experience makes her a welcome addition to our dynamic sales team in Canada and further cements the importance of the Canadian market to the overall success of The Travel Corporation."

Reporting to Julius Stecker, Vice President, TTC Groups North America, Hamres will be responsible for working with travel advisors across Canada to develop and execute group sales strategies, maximize group sales growth and strengthen group product knowledge across the six individual brands of TTC Tour Brands including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Contiki and Brendan Vacations.

Hamre added, "I'm excited to return to TTC in this new role. With our incredible touring brands and the ability to customize and personalize clients' experiences, the options for group travel with TTC Tour Brands are only as limited as a person's imagination."
