Quebec Advisors Experience Costa Rica FAM

Quebec advisors embarked on a FAM trip to Costa Rica, highlighting the Central Valley and Caribbean Coast. They were accompanied by Gustavo Inciarte from VoX International, French-speaking local experts, and members of the Costa Rica Tourism Board.

During the 7-night familiarization trip, advisors met with tourism industry partners at a destination trade show, facilitating new connections.

After the trade show, the group went on a guided tour of San José, which focused on landmarks in the city, including the National Theater of Costa Rica, Plaza de la Cultura, Templo de la Música, and Edificio Metalico.

Advisors were then divided into two groups to explore different regions of Costa Rica. One group ventured to the cloud forests of Monteverde, visited a coffee farm, hiked to Rio Celeste's blue waterfall, toured a Cacao farm, and kayaked in Tamarindo. The second group navigated the canals of Tortuguero National Park, staying at Mwamba Lodge. They later explored the seaside villages of Cahuita and Puerto Viejo.

All advisors on the FAM had previously completed the Costa Rica Specialist Agent Programme.
