Mont Tremblant Launching Summer Skiing

 Mont-Tremblant
Introduction to skiing on a dry slope starting on 18AUG

No snow? No problem. Mont Tremblant has added a new activity to its summer offerings.

Starting on 18AUG, visitors can learn to ski or snowboard on synthetic slopes.

Two types of surfaces are available in the learning area: a long-fibre mat for a softer feel in the Upper Equilibre section, which allows for wider turns, and a short-fibre mat for a firmer surface in the Lower Equilibre area, which gives more room for braking techniques and controlling your skis or board.

Rental equipment is included with access (skis, boots, poles and helmet or snowboard, boots and helmet), and staff assistance is available for all ages. Visitors can bring their own equipment for the same price.

The one-hour activity, split in blocks of skiers, runs seven days a week from 18AUG to 04SEPT, and then on weekends only until 15OCT.

More information is available on Mont Tremblant's website.
