WestJet Group announced the appointment of Michael (Mike) Scott as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
With over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, Scott will join the airline's executive team effective 13JUN.
Prior to joining WestJet, Scott had a long-established career at StandardAero, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for more than 13 years. Prior, he held a variety of senior level roles across the organization. In addition, throughout his tenure as CFO, Mike worked with three different private equity sponsors.

Scott will oversee all financial management of the WestJet Group, including accounting and financial reporting, planning and analysis, treasury, tax, procurement, supply chain, real estate and payment services teams.

Jenn Bue, who has been serving as interim CFO of the WestJet Group for the last five months, will transition to the role of Senior Vice President, Finance & Deputy Chief Financial Officer, and will report directly to Scott.
