TDC Makes New Marketing Appointee

Marc Pelletier, Senior Director, Marketing, Communications and Events at Transat Distribution Canada.

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has appointed Marc Pelletier as Senior Director, Marketing, Communications and Events.

In an email 02MAY, TDC General Manager Karine Gagnon introduced Pelletier to TDC advisors, explaining:

"In this role, Marc will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategy and programs for all TDC brands as well as communications and events, leading the team and playing a key role in maximizing profitability and achieving TDC's business objectives. As a member of the leadership team, Marc will work closely with the leaders of TDC's various sectors. He will be responsible for continuing to evolve TDC's position as the leading leisure travel retail company in Canada, will be responsible to own TDC brands and ensure relevancy, awareness, and compliance across the board. Marc will lead the team of Marketing and Programs, meetings and events, and communications.

"Marc has over 15 years of experience as a leader in marketing and communications.

"He has extensive knowledge of the marketing environment in retail, brand management, and franchising. He was most recently Vice President of Marketing and Communications at La Cage (Groupe Grandio) and previously worked for large organisations such as Bell Canada and Lasik MD.

"I am convinced that Marc's experience, his passion for brands and his rigour as a leader are excellent assets that will enable him to successfully carry out his mandate."
