Electric Air Taxis Being Developed for the 2024 Paris Olympics

The world’s first electric air taxi network is being developed for the 2024 Paris Olympics, reports Britain’s The Guardian. The network will use VoloCity, a vertical takeoff and landing electric aircraft developed by Volocopter, which has capacity for a pilot and single passenger. There will be two routes available: between CDG, LBG, and a new landing pad at Austerlitz Paris train station, and from Paris to Saint-Cyr.
