IATA Reports JAN Air Traffic Reached 84 Per Cent Of 2019 Levels

In JAN, 2023 overall air traffic increased by 67 per cent over JAN, 2022 according to IATA. That puts global air traffic at 84 per cent of pre-pandemic levels. North American carriers reported an increase of 82.4 per cent in JAN, 2023, when compared to JAN, 2022.

“The stage is set for an even busier spring and summer,” said Willie Walsh, director general of IATA.
