Merit Travel Appoints Lora Hamre as Director of Retail and Independent Consultant Program

H.I.S.-Red Label Vacations Inc. (RLV) and Merit Travel have announced the appointment of Lora Hamre as the new Director of Retail and Independent Consultant Program. She began assuming responsibilities on 02MAY 2022.

According to the companies, Hamre's role is primarily focused on growing the retail and independent travel divisions with "finesse and forward-thinking" while fostering new business development activities that drive greater engagement and opportunity.

Hamre has over 20 years of industry experience, most recently working as Business Development Manager for Trafalgar Travel.

"Her sales, training, and business development expertise make Lora proficient in translating retail business objectives into tactical strategies that drive revenue. She thrives in multi-dimensional environments like RLV’s where innovation and customer-centric transformations are part of the company ecosystem," the companies said.

Additionally, both RLV and Merit Travel highlight that Hamre is a travel agent advocate who understands the vital role advisors play in curating the ideal travel experience for travellers.
