To celebrate its 10th anniversary, American Queen Voyages released a new video with a detailed overview of its history. Narrated by its founder and Chairman, John Waggoner, the video recounts the company's history, starting from its acquisition and restoration of American Queen, its first vessel.
“It is amazing to look back at how far American Queen Voyages has come in such a short amount of time, today employing hundreds and introducing thousands of guests to communities up and down the rivers and even expanding to the Great Lakes, Mexico and Alaska,” Waggoner said. “I enjoy telling our story to guests and crew whenever I am on the boats and am pleased to share this short video to everyone as we celebrate our 10th anniversary season.”
In 2014, the company expanded to the Pacific North West with the acquisition of American Empress, sailing along the Columbia Snake River. In 2017, the cruise line added American Duchess, and added a fourth vessel to its fleet in MAR 2021 with the American Countess.
In 2018, American Queen Voyages acquired Victory Cruise Lines, and later rebranded its coastal vessels as the Ocean Voyager and the Ocean Navigator.
To celebrate the milestone, the cruise line announced additional 10 per cent savings on new bookings made by 31OCT, using code 10ANV at the time of booking.
