No One Beats The Fives for Five or More

Two & three bedroom residence suites for weddings, families, bachelorettes …

With spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, enough activities onsite to keep everyone busy, and exceptional value, The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences is a leading family-friendly and group-oriented resort in Playa del Carmen.

“We have a saying that nobody beats The Fives for five,” says Sandor Winkler, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at The Fives Hotels & Residences.

“For travel agents, when you’re thinking about booking a family of five or more, nobody beats us because at most resorts, there usually isn’t any category that can take up to 10 people and if there is, it’s usually a very premium category. We have one-, two- and three-bedroom units that are our baseline. In other words, it’s not more expensive for two people to stay in a one bedroom than for six people to stay in a three bedroom per person. So, you don’t have to fork out a bunch of extra money in order to be all together. That makes us very popular for multi-generational groups.”

The More, the Merrier

Whether your clients are travelling to reconnect as an extended or multi-generational family, celebrate a milestone, or mark a special occasion, The Fives is an all-in-one getaway that ticks the box of every vacation wish list.

Its 662 luxury suites are spacious, elegantly appointed, and large enough to accommodate up to eight adults and two children in a three-bedroom suite. With categories that range from a deluxe two-person room to penthouse residences, your clients can get the level of privacy, space and amenities they desire.

“When we talk to travel agents, our multi-generational product offering is one that they tell us they love the most,” Winkler says.

Got Groups?

Big groups looking for something a bit more extravagant will find it at the 1,623 square-foot three-bedroom penthouse residence, which features a private rooftop party deck, boasting an additional 1,357 square feet, with a pergola, a BBQ, a hot tub, a Bali bed.

Although The Fives Beach Hotel is all-inclusive, all suites are equipped with a full kitchen, giving families and groups the option of a more intimate dining experience than they’d get in one of the resort’s 13 restaurants and snack bars (or food outlets) and ten bars.

There’s even a special activity offered by the brand centered on this social space: a U-Chef Box program which delivers a full set of ready-to-use ingredients and instructions for guests to prepare special dishes right in their own resort residence kitchen.

“Because of the pandemic, we wanted to come up with activities where you could have an all-inclusive experience without necessarily going to the restaurants. You can prepare the U-Chef Box meal either following the recipe we provide, or the TV where the chef is doing it in loops every 30 minutes,” Winkler says.

“We put in a lot of enhancements and improvements in 2022 to make sure that all of our guests get a real sense of joy,” Winkler says.

“What that means in practical terms is that we’ve added five new areas and reconceptualized some areas so the resort is laid out better.”

Infinity Pool

Breeze Pool is one of these fresh new areas. One of eight on-property pools, it caters exclusively to teenagers, where they can enjoy a mocktail at the swim-up bar in between cannonballs and selfies. There’s also the infinity pool, which has become a more “beach butler” kind of experience, and the Lizards Pool is the place to be for high-energy activities.

Hear Winkler talk all about the property’s five new areas in his interview with Transat’s Senior Business Development Representative Key Accounts, Susan Kooiman.

The Fives is included as part of Transat’s Family Collection, offering exclusive benefits for travel through 31OCT 2022, including:
