NexusTours has long been familiar territory for Canadian travel advisors selling Mexico and the Caribbean, with transfers and excursions central to the brand’s role in the Canadian market.
But that is no longer the full picture.
Through the NexusTours Travel Partner Portal, advisors can now tap into a global portfolio spanning 200,000+ experiences across 165+ countries and 3,800+ destinations. It gives advisors an opportunity to stay involved in more of the client’s travel plans, well beyond the traditional all-inclusive vacation.
From Sun Destinations to the World

The same platform used to book an excursion in Cancun can also be used to arrange transfers, attractions, tours, and other experiences for clients travelling around the world, including:
- Canada
- United States
- Europe
- Asia
- Latin America
And the inventory goes well beyond traditional excursions. Through the portal, advisors can book:
- Theme parks
- Sightseeing tours
- Museums
- Attractions
- Transportation
- Airport transfers
- Hop-on hop-off buses
- River cruises
- Food tours
- Adventure activities
- Cultural experiences
That broad portfolio creates an opportunity to think about NexusTours differently. Rather than a platform primarily associated with sun-destination bookings at Caribbean or Mexican resorts, it can be a resource for clients travelling to destinations around the world and looking to experience more along the way.
Experiences That Match the Itinerary

The breadth of inventory is particularly relevant as clients increasingly look beyond the resort itself when planning a trip.
According to Alejandro Vazquez, Senior Director, Strategic Accounts & Partner Success, NexusTours, historical and cultural tours are among the products being booked through the platform, alongside private and luxury transfers. In Europe, advisors are also booking attractions, theme parks, museums, cultural experiences, and river cruises.
That gives advisors options to complement a wide range of itineraries.
A European city break can include a sightseeing tour or museum experience. A family vacation can be enhanced with a theme park or attraction. A client travelling for a special occasion can arrange private transportation. And travellers looking for something more immersive can add culinary, cultural, or adventure experiences.
There is a wide range of relevant products for more types of trips.
The Client Relationship Doesn’t End at the Beach

For advisors whose business has traditionally centred on sun destinations, NexusTours’ expansion also presents a way to extend an existing client relationship into other types of travel. Once registered, advisors can use the platform to book products for customers travelling anywhere in the world.
A client may book an all-inclusive vacation one year and a river cruise the next. The Travel Partner Portal gives advisors a way to participate in those experiences, helping them continue adding value to the client relationship long after the beach vacation is over. There is also no requirement for the client to have a Sunwing or WestJet Vacations booking.
More Than a Platform

Vazquez describes the NexusTours Travel Partner Portal as a “one-stop shop,” where advisors can find a broad range of products and experiences in one place. That includes products that can be relevant before departure, while clients are in destination, and across future trips.
“We’re now connecting Canadian travellers and travel advisors directly to a global portfolio of experiences and ancillary products that they can sell to their customers even before they set foot in destination,” Vazquez says.
NexusTours may have built its reputation in the sun-destination space, but the Travel Partner Portal now gives advisors access to a much bigger world.
