Swim-out Suites Are a Gem

At Krystal Grand Los Cabos

Krystal Grand Los Cabos has a front-row seat to vibrant Mexican culture, stunning sunsets over the Sea of Cortez, and the kind of carefree bliss only an all-inclusive vacation can bring – and your clients can join the fiesta.

Properties within Krystal’s Grand portfolio provide an upgrade on the Krystal experience.

“Within Krystal Resorts, there are two main levels of resorts. We have the regular Krystal properties – these are our original properties. Some of them have been around for a while and many agents know them really well. Over the last decade, we’ve introduced the Krystal Grand resorts, which is our higher-end brand.”

Grand properties feature a wider range of all-inclusive services and experiences, refined culinary offerings, new entertainment options and, truly the standout element, the upscale Altitude resort concept.

Embracing the Baja Beauty

Krystal Grand Los Cabos’ convenient beachfront location in San Jose del Cabo means it’s just 15 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), a five-minute drive from the region’s famed Gallery District San Jose del Cabo, and 25 minutes from Cabo San Lucas at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula.

Although the beach at Krystal Grand Los Cabos isn’t swimmable, a 10-minute walk along the shore will land you at one that is.

“Cabo in general isn’t a big ocean swimming destination because of the undertow at most of the beaches, and that includes the beach in front of the Krystal Grand Los Cabos,” says Dave Emery, Sales Manager for Canada at Krystal Hotels & Resorts. “However, there are a few beaches that do allow swimming, when the conditions allow for it. So a 10-minute walk down the beach, people are able to swim there, as long as the conditions are right. They’ll have the flags up indicating whether it’s safe.”

Most visitors to Baja Mexico know that, unlike in Cancun and at the Krystal Grand Cancun, beaches aren’t the highlight here – there is so much more to experience. Los Cabos is one of Mexico’s leading tourist destinations, and with good reason. Guests can spend their days exploring hidden coves, sampling exquisite local cuisine, or embarking on thrilling eco-adventures in the surrounding desert landscape. Whether it’s whale watching in the winter months or exploring the heart of vibrant downtown San José del Cabo, there’s no shortage of opportunities to connect with the surroundings at Krystal Grand Los Cabos.

“I love the little village of San José del Cabo, which is where we’re close to. It’s literally a five-minute taxi ride away. One of my favourite things to do at San José is on Thursday nights, they have an art walk where all of the little artist’s shops are open and they encourage people to come in for browsing and just enjoying the artist’s shop,” Emery says.

Splash, Pamper, Explore

Besides exploring the region’s hotspots, your clients will have plenty to enjoy on-property, as well, with some vacation-worthy amenities:

  • Four heated pools, including an adults-only pool for guests over 18 and a wading pool with four slides for kids.
  • For guest seeking to be pampered, the Eternity Spa offers facials and body treatments.
  • A wide variety of activities are ready to entertain guests throughout the day, including wine and tequila tastings, aqua aerobics, salsa classes, pool and beach volleyball, and more.
  • Kids aged three to 12 have their own space to play at the fully supervised Kamp Krystal Kids Club, and the Adventure Friends Teens Club is the perfect spot for teens aged 13 to 17 to enjoy activities like ping pong, board games, air hockey, video games, and more.
  • The resort is located near championship golf courses including the Puerto Los Cabos, Campestre, Cabo Real, and Palmilla Golf Course, with discounted rates for resort guests.

From Teppanyaki to Tacos

Ayami Restaurant

At Krystal Grand Los Cabos, dining comes with an extra course – exquisite views of the Sea of Cortez at all their restaurants.

Ayami Restaurant, serving Pan-Asian cuisine, is a standout for Emery.

“I really love the Asian restaurant, Ayami. It’s my favourite of all of the restaurants. They do Teppanyaki, which I love, and I think you can also order sushi and other Asian-inspired dishes,” he says.

Additional a la carte restaurant options include The Grill (grilled specialties), Hacienda el Mortero (authentic Mexican fare), and Risotto (Italian).

O Restaurant is your trusty international buffet serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a different theme each night, and Surfo’s Snack Bar is great for apps and snacks like hamburgers, nachos, ceviche, pizza, and fish tacos.

Morning bliss starts at the Take a Bite café – home to the perfect brew, the freshest pastries, and the finest deli picks to kick off the day.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos caters to diverse diets with abundant gluten-free and vegetarian options, and with restaurant operations rotating daily, guests are in for a fresh culinary surprise every single day.

Swim-Up Suites and Family Havens Elevate the Stay

Swim-out Suite

Whether your clients spend their days exploring the resort’s amenities or the region’s attractions, they know they can always come back to comfort. The resort’s 429 rooms and suites feature convenient amenities with classic and contemporary décor located across three towers with street, garden, and ocean views.

Do your clients want a splash of luxury? With swim-out suites, they can jump from terrace to pool in a heartbeat.

“Not all of our competitors have lots of swim-out suites. We have swim-out suites in two different room categories, in the Palmilla building as well as the Altitude building,” Emery says. “It’s a little touch of luxury to have your own little swim-out suite and we have plenty of those at the Krystal in Los Cabos.”

Catering to families that prefer extra elbow room and privacy, Krystal Grand Los Cabos has 56 connecting rooms to capture a perfect family vacation.

Want Oceanfront? Find it at Altitude

Altitude Junior Suite Ocean Front King Terrace Suite

The brand’s signature Altitude Club is an elevated experience for those seeking a more indulgent stay. The Club is family-friendly, but also provides serene and exclusive adults-only areas.

“The Altitude tower overlooks the beach and has all the benefits of the Altitude room category with oceanfront rooms and oceanfront swim-out suites,” Emery highlights. There are 68 of these prestigious oceanfront suites.

Besides extra perks like upgraded amenities, nightly turn-down service, and bathrobe and slippers available in the room, guests can also enjoy 24-hour room service at no charge, private check-in and check-out, and access to exclusive spaces like the Altitude Club Lounge and the adults-only Sky Lounge.

Set on the seventh-floor rooftop of the Altitude Club tower, the Sky Lounge’s chic ambiance pairs perfectly with a cool cocktail and spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez.

From Meetings to Milestones

Transform your client’s and MICE group’s vision into reality with Krystal’s diverse event spaces, offering limitless possibilities for celebrations, both monumental and modest. For your engaged couples, a booking of a certain number of nights will grant them a free wedding package as the icing on the cake.

Air Canada Vacations Makes Canada to Cabo a Breeze

Air Canada Vacations offers non-stop flights to Los Cabos from across Canada, taking your clients from snow to sunshine in just a few hours. Direct flights are available out of Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto and, in some cases, depending on the season, flights operate up to three times per week.

“We have lots of options depending on where you are in Canada. We also have the connectors and because we have up to three flights a week, your clients are able to book a package outside of seven days. They can do longer 10-day stays, odd durations, or four days, for example, so we have a lot of flexibility to offer when we’re getting clients down to Los Cabos,” says Erminia Gallina, General Manager, Air Canada Vacations.
