SEEING IS BELIEVING

'In Real Life' COVID Protocols on a European River Cruise on Avalon Waterways

Even before Open Jaw's editor, Lynn Elmhirst, was home from her week aboard the Avalon Poetry II on the Rhone River in the South of France, she was getting messages asking, "What's it like?"

And by "What's it like," of course, what advisors, and fellow travel lovers really meant was, "Are COVID protocols affecting the cruise guest experience?"

So Lynn decided that 'seeing is believing.' She made this video documenting what it's like right now on board a river cruise in Europe with Avalon Waterways.

This exclusive, Open Jaw video shows what the guest experience of COVID protocols is, and Lynn shares her feeling that they are not restrictive, but instead, a new expression of service to guests that make travellers feel well cared-for.

Are the details in this video what you were expecting to see? We'd love to hear what you think in the comments.
