Air Canada is redefining the travel experience with the introduction of Chef Masaki Hashimoto of Kaiseki Yu-zen Hashimoto (one Michelin Star) to its culinary panel, elevating in-flight dining on all Canada-Japan routes. Available now in Signature Class, this collaboration offers an authentic and sophisticated Japanese experience. The rotating menu items include:
- Zensai (appetizer): Sautéed lotus root
- Komono (side dishes): Sesame tofu with wasabi sauce
- Oshokuji (main course): Beef sukiyaki with simmered tofu, scallions, napa cabbage and red ginger
Passengers in Signature Class will also enjoy a sake pairing selected by Chef Hashimoto’s son, Kei Hashimoto, a certified Kiki saké-shi (saké sommelier), ensuring an elevated and delicious experience from start to finish.
