The Globus family of brands (Globus, Avalon Waterways, and Cosmos) announced a FAM trip program for travel advisors called “FOR U, BY US.”

According to Globus, the program, designed for BDMs working with travel advisors, is a sales-focused initiative that combines travel experiences with training to boost sales and ROI.

In the New Year, Globus plans to send more than 650 advisors on FAMs and have another 750 advisors participate in additional on-trip and event-specific initiatives.

“On our FAM trips, we aren’t just inviting travel advisors into the world on Globus tours and Avalon river cruises,” said Camile Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands.

“We’re offering them a robust ‘learn and earn’ program to help them make the most of each journey, while promising unmatched earning potential. From 12 ways to tour and top-rated river cruises – not to mention, the best commissions in the industry – a partnership with us offers a one-stop-shop for success.”

FAM program includes pre- and post-trip training, including the completion of GFOB U, business plans and predetermined ROI expectations, Webinars, one-on-one meetings and post-trip action plans:

  • Pre-Trip Preparation: Advisors will receive detailed itineraries, training materials and set, booking-focused goals for a meaningful and deliberate FAM experience.
  • On-Trip Engagement: Active participation in the trip experience will include training and social media content creation to boost advisor visibility and brand engagement.
  • Post-Trip ROI: Success will be measured through a combination of bookings, social media reach and advisor feedback.
