Porter Airlines Partners with Snowbird Advisor

Porter Airlines' new Embraer E195-E2.

Porter Airlines has partnered with online resource Snowbird Advisor to promote its flights to a dozen destinations across four U.S. states this winter.

Porter flies the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Fort Myers and West Palm Beach nonstop from Toronto Pearson International Airport beginning late October and early November. Orlando and Fort Lauderdale operate year-round.

“This is great news for snowbirds, bringing much needed competition to these popular Florida destinations offering snowbirds more choice on a very comfortable Embraer jet aircraft with a 2 x 2 seat configuration - that means no middle seats,” said Stephen Fine, President, Snowbird Advisor.

“The further availability of flights to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Diego, are of great appeal to snowbirds.”

Porter also flies from Toronto to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and San Diego this winter.

From Ottawa, Porter flies to Orlando year-round, and service to Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Fort Myers begins this fall. Service to Las Vegas begins 01NOV

From Montreal, flights start in November to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and Las Vegas.

And from Halifax, nonstop flights start in early December to Tampa and Orlando.

Porter now flies coast to coast and to every province in Canada from its eastern hubs of Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. This enables snowbirds to connect to Porter’s sun destinations from major Canadian gateways.

“Snowbird Advisor is an ideal partner to share our winter sun destinations: Florida, Arizona, Nevada and California,” said  Edmond Eldebs, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines. “Canadians love to escape the winter and with Porter, they can start enjoying their trip the moment they step onboard the aircraft.”
