Scenic has unveiled its 2023-2024 season featuring more than 50 countries across all seven continents, and has also opened bookings for its second discovery yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, which joins the fleet in early 2023.

In addition, Scenic is currently offering savings of up to 20 per cent per person on 2023/24 voyages when booked and paid in full 12 months prior to departure.

Both Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts will be providing guests with the chance to sail to all four corners of the globe, as well as every continent, with its new collection of 85 voyages featuring brand-new destinations including Indonesia, Polynesia, the Pacific Islands, Australia, the Caribbean and Scotland. This is in addition to several new itineraries in the Arctic, Mediterranean, the Americas and Antarctica.

Highlights of new itineraries for 2023/24 include:

Antarctica Insights: Fly and Cruise

Scenic Discovery Yachts’ take guests on their voyage across the Drake Passage. Alternatively, and new for 2023/24, is the option to fly either in both directions or just one direction for those with time limits or who simply want to arrive in Antarctica swiftly. The nine- or 10-day journey begins (or ends) in Punta Arenas (Chile) with a two-hour flight to/from King George Island. Once in Antarctica, guests join one of the Discovery Yachts and begin their exploration of the Antarctic Peninsula and its protected channels, with assistance from Scenic’s dedicated Discovery Team. Guests can glide in a kayak or stand-up paddleboard on icy water. Fares start at CAD $21,437 per person, double.

Discover the Kimberley Coastline

As Scenic returns to its origins (Australian-founded company), this 11-day voyage from Darwin to Broome offers guests an exploration of the wilderness of Australia’s Kimberley Coast. Sights range from wilderness to deep gorges to rainforests to cascading waterfalls. Local experiences will see traditional owners of the land instruct Scenic guests about the region’s heritage and folklore. Prices start at CAD $16,807.

Wild Frontiers: Franz Josef Land Archipelago

Scenic will venture to the Russian High Arctic and Novaya Zemlya. This 18-day exploration introduces guests to the isles and waters of the region with its wildlife and cultural histories. Guests can be surrounded by wildlife – including polar bears, whales, walruses and seabird colonies. Cruise fares start at CAD $29,012.

  • 13-day Caribbean Sojourn voyage from Nassau to Bridgetown
  • 11-day Atlantic Isles & the Caribbean voyage from New York to Nassau
  • 13-day Passage through Melanesia: Solomon Islands & Vanuatu voyage from Cairns to Fiji.
  • 13-day Secrets of Indonesia: Spice Islands & Raja Ampat voyage from Darwin to Darwin.
  • 9-day Scottish Isles: Historic Trails & Wilderness voyage from Edinburgh to Dublin
  • 12-day Beyond the Arctic Circle voyage from Tromsø to Oslo
  • 10-day Antarctica Insights: Fly & Cruise voyage from Punta Arenas to Buenos Aires

Scenic Eclipse II is built from the same blueprint as its sister ship, identical in her design, and offers a variety of amenities, and state-of-the-art technology for unrivalled exploration. Guests joining the new Scenic Eclipse II can enjoy an underwater experience aboard the Triton 660/9 AVA submarine, with large acrylic spheres designed for optimum underwater viewing. Enhancements to the fleet include a newly designed ‘Deck 10’ on both yachts, featuring the Panorama Bar that has been furnished with outdoor seating with chairs and sun loungers alongside the outdoor pool.

With just 228 guests (200 guests in Polar regions) and a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio and butler service, a journey on board Scenic Eclipse offers personalized service. The up-to 20-member, on board Discovery Team educates guests and provides lectures and guidance during the cruise.
