Formerly Adults-Only, Hilton Vallarta Riviera Unveils New Kids Club

Hilton Vallarta Riviera
Hilton Vallarta Riviera

Hilton Vallarta Riviera has debuted its new kids club as the resort transitions from being adults-only to a family-friendly property. Travel Agent Central reports that the 444-room all-inclusive resort is also adding kid-friendly activities, amenities and family-friendly entertainment, while maintaining an adults-only wing.

Open daily, the Kids Club will offer arts and crafts stations, a lounge area with bean bags and a TV, as well as a soft play area for babies and toddlers. The complimentary activities program for kids (ages four to 12) offers education and exploration via activities that include culturally-inspired art projects such as jewelry making, face painting and cooking classes. In addition, children can also participate in scavenger hunts, dance classes, themed parties, mini disco, glow-in-the-dark games and movie nights, among others.

Teens (ages 13 to 17) can participate in sports tournaments, street art and photography workshops, and contemporary music and dance classes. Outdoor entertainment includes beach games, volleyball, pool games, unmotorized water sports and surfing. They can also enjoy movie and pizza nights, breakdance classes, themed parties, talent contests, a photo booth and disco/teens nightclub with a live DJ.

The hotel will soon launch its Teens Zone, a lounge area that will offer teens a dedicated space to relax and socialize. The space will include pool tables, air hockey, gaming stations, ping pong tables, foosball tables and board games, besides beanbags, TV screens and music. The space even includes a DJ lab where teens can learn to mix their favorite songs and create their own sets and playlists.
